Working with InsuredBay.com:

InsuredBay developed a web based system offering time saving easy to use ordering system.

you can choose from the three options: Manual, Order by Email or Order by Email and pay with Automated payment system.

Order By Email insurance purchase system:

When your ebay sell is finished and the buyer makes the payment with PayPal, you will receive an email from Paypal

confirming your buyer’s purchase payment.

The PayPal mail subject header looks like this:

Item #220123456789 Instant payment received from eBay ID name (buyer@mail.com)

Forward this email from the same email address defined in your Insuredbay account to new-policy@InsuredBay.com

A return email from Insuredbay is sent to your email address and contains the subject: pending policy order for item# 220123456789 (waiting for payment)

with your payment instructions via PayPal.

Make any number of insurance orders and pay them all in one payment.

Payment is due up to 3 days after the shipment is sent but before it arrives to its destination.

Manual Payment:

when receiving return email from InsuredBay with the subject: pending policy order for item #123456789 (waiting for payment)

just press the link: click here to complete payment for this order. it will lead you to pay with PayPal after logging into InsuredBay site.

you can pay for one order or for all the pending orders waiting.

if there is an order you want to cancel just unmark it from the pending list.

Declared Value - your sale value for insurance:

A unique process is used to determine the value of goods for the purchase of cargo insurance.

The insurance purchaser declares the value, and this declaration is the basis for the set insurance value and the insurance fee. In the event of a claim, the compensation is limited to the declared value.

How is the declared value determined for eBay sales at InsureBay?

the sale price of the eBay sale + the shipping and handling sum is the declared value of the goods.

This is agreed and signed upon in the insurance contract.

For example:

If your item is sold for 50.00 USD

and shipping & handling cost is 20.00 USD

The declared value for this sale = 70 USD

When you order insurance via Order By Email system:

The InsuredBay system will read your PayPal mail and will take the selling price + the shipping price and automatically calculate

it as the Declared Value for insurance. If you submit a claim, InsuredBay will compensate you according to this declared value sum

and not the market value of the goods.

Claims:

The advantage of working with InsuredBay is our “paperless” operation. Our user-friendly claims processing system

enables you to present your claim online, without the need to send hard copies of your policy, pictures or other information.

Submit your insurance claim in a few simple steps:

- Enter the eBay item number. You can find it on the PayPal email authorizing the payment

 for the sale. This will be your claim number.

- Provide all the details of the claim in the box marked “Description”, including the relevant

 dates and whether the shipment was lost or damaged.

- Upload all relevant documents and attachments to support your claim, including photographs,

 Proof of Delivery and others. Please save the originals.

- Click “Submit” to activate the claim. We will update you at every stage of the claim’s progress.
